Notes:
This type of beach exists in areas along the west coast of North America and in the Mediterranean regions. The climate consists of wet winters and dry summers. The temperature remains mild throughout most the year even though the rainfall changes from one extreme to another.

The second picture also shows an image of a seastack. You find these rocky outcrops near many western rocky beaches.
