LIGHTBULB (Incandescent)

Example Type:
Manmade Tool

Information:
Location: Various
Record Date: 06.19
Season: Spring
Elevation: Unknown

Notes:
As objects heat up, they begin to glow. When something glows, it can give off usable amounts of light. Scientists used this concept when inventing the lightbulb. As electricity moves through the bulb, the filament heats up and energy/visible light is sent out to the surrounding area.

The light emits much of its energy in the visible range of the electromagnetic spectrum. There is also energy given off in the infrared range as heat.
