LOCAL PHASES OF PLANT GROWTH

Example Type:
Natural Occurrence

Information:
Location: Canyon Hillside
Record Date: 04.12
Season: Spring
Elevation: 100 Feet

Notes:
This photo is a good example of growth in different phases. In the foreground you can see how the brush and bushes have been completely cut away and there are very small plants. The next phase shows tall grass. Finally, the background shows the full bushes that occur in the area. They continue back and cover the hills. If left alone, the bushes will cover the area where there are no plants.
