EROSION DUE TO FLOOD

Notes:
This photo shows the dried edge of a floodway. During the spring months the flowing water pulls topsoil away from the bank and takes it downstream. As the soil is taken away, this is what is left. This process of erosion will continue as long as there is extreme seasonal rainfall.
